In face of the exclusive relationship between motion and stillness in photography and cinematography, this installation aims to provide a new interpretation to understand the act of 'capturing a photographic moment'. The opposition between these two stages of the captured moment establishes a suspicious truce: The cinematic motion always neglects its tight relationship with photographic stillness and vice versa. Consequently, for this installation, the film is intentionally unfolded as a concrete object, which can be experienced either as a unified image – displayer in a light-box – or as a fragmented and abstract set of images – projected as a motion loop. Nonetheless, the viewer is always forced to choose one or the other as the installation setting prevents him/her from seeing both forms simultaneously.

"60 – 24" es una instalación cinematográfica. La pieza revisa el instante fotográfico y propone un dialogo entre el movimiento y su ausencia. Esta dualidad sugiere una tregua sospechosa: El cine siempre niega su realidad. La película se desdobla como un objeto concreto que se puede percibir como una Imagen fija, presentada en una caja de luz y, como un bucle de imágenes en movimiento. Ésta instalación sugiere la imposibilidad de observar ambos soportes de forma simultáneamente. La experiencia del movimiento en esta pieza constituye una abstracción ilusoria que atrapa al espectador dentro de una dinámica perceptiva nunca consumada.
